Achieve Something Great
Aboriginal Got It! is a pioneering early intervention mental health program supporting the social and emotional wellbeing of Aboriginal children aged 3 to 9 years in preschool and primary school settings. Rooted in strong cultural integrity, the program brings together Aboriginal traditional healing practices with evidence based clinical approaches to provide truly holistic care. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to deliver a 10 week therapeutic group program for Aboriginal children and their extended families, alongside culturally responsive case management. You will work closely with schools to strengthen their confidence and capability in supporting children’s emotional needs, creating safer and more inclusive learning environments. Based within Infant, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (ICAMHS), you will join a dynamic multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals and Aboriginal community knowledge holders dedicated to creating culturally safe spaces for healing, connection and growth. This is your chance to be part of an award winning team recognised with a NSW Health Award for Excellence in Aboriginal Healthcare.
