About the Opportunity
Campbelltown and Camden Hospital are seeking a permanent full time Level 4 Musculoskeletal/Orthopaedic Physiotherapy Team Leader. 

The position provides leadership and clinical governance across a team of clinicians working in a range of inpatient and outpatient clinical areas including musculoskeletal outpatients, orthopaedics, fracture clinic, and emergency department.

The Team Leader will:

  • have a broad breadth of clinical knowledge and expertise and be required to carry a clinical caseload across at least one of these clinical areas. They will provide consultancy to the wider department and interdisciplinary teams on novel or complex physiotherapy presentations.
  • ​​​​​​​be responsible for leading and coordinating clinical supervision and training, workforce planning, service evaluation and quality activities within the musculoskeletal /orthopaedic team.
  • provide expert advice and participate in service development and research activities, facilitate student placements and support wider department and facility quality and safety activities.

 

What You'll be Doing
The Team Leader Physiotherapist is responsible for leadership and management of the Musculoskeletal/Orthopaedic Physiotherapy Team and supporting the Head of Department in broader Physiotherapy service activities. This includes providing clinical and administrative leadership, the monitoring of professional standards, workforce planning, clinical practice development, safety and quality and the development of, implementation and evaluation of physiotherapy care.

  1. Current Physiotherapy Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

  4. Please provide examples of how you have advocated and led service developments for improved patient care.
  5. Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
