About the Role

In the A62 Cardiology Unit, you will be an integral part of a skilled team, delivering compassionate care to patients undergoing cardiac diagnostics, monitoring, and management. Working in this unit, you'll gain expertise in cardiac assessment, managing both acute and chronic cardiac conditions, and providing care in a dynamic, fast paced environment that requires adaptability and precision. The role involves shift work across days, evenings, and nights.

How to Apply

  1. Current Authority to Practice as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2), General with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  2. Demonstrated recent experience as an Enrolled Nurse in an acute care hospital setting. 
  3. Demonstrated ability to provide safe compassionate and also quality care that is culturally responsive. Give an example of how you have delivered quality and compassionate care. 
  4. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and engage with patients/consumers, carers, and the multidisciplinary health care team and to resolve conflict. 
  5. Demonstrated understanding and participation in clinical risk management, work health and safety and quality improvement in the workplace
