Achieve Something Great
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth, development and retention of the Aboriginal workforce across South Western Sydney Local Health District (SWSLHD). Working within the Aboriginal Workforce Team in People & Culture, you will play a key role in strengthening Aboriginal employment, career pathways and workforce participation through the development and implementation of targeted workforce programs and initiatives. The role offers the opportunity to build strong and meaningful relationships with Aboriginal communities, community-controlled organisations, NSW Health services and a broad range of external partners across South Western Sydney. Through a collaborative and culturally responsive approach, you will help drive practical initiatives that support workforce development, promote culturally safe employment practices, and create positive outcomes for Aboriginal people, staff and communities across the District.

Experienced in coordinating workforce programs or projects, you can effectively plan, implement and monitor initiatives that deliver meaningful outcomes. You are a confident communicator and collaborator, able to build positive working relationships and work effectively with both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal stakeholders. Strong organisational and project management skills, together with well-developed written communication abilities and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel, will enable you to contribute to the delivery of high-quality workforce initiatives that support Aboriginal employment and career development across SWSLHD.
