About the role

The Transition to Practice Peri-Operative Services is a 12 month training position within the Theatre Complex of Orange Hospital. During this period the successful applicants will rotate through all areas of the service gaining skills in Anaesthetics, Scrub/Scout and Recovery.

You will work within a supported and dynamic team to provide world class peri-operative services to the Orange and Surrounding communities. The successful applicants should have a keen interest in the patient pathway for peri-operative services, including pre, intra and post operative care. They should have an interest in learning new skills and form part of a team to prove exceptional care.

The Peri-Operative team is a large highly skilled team working closely within a multi-disciplinary team including Medical, Nursing, Support Services and Wards staff. Education opportunities are given through learning pathways to ensure a skilled workforce within the Orange Theatre Complex through a supported environment and District Peri-Operative support.
