What you'll be doing
This position is a leave relief position. After the training period, the successful applicant will be required to provide cover across both Cooma and Queanbeyan Medical Imaging Departments.
Selection Criteria
- Current Authority to Practice as a Medical Radiation Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a EPA licence to use radiation (IA14).
- Sound written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to interact with a wide range of people.
- Ability to provide a range of imaging services with required support, and to participate in the department roster including on-call as required.
- Ability to work within a team and share workloads according to skills and competencies.
- Ability to interpret request information and select an appropriate protocol.
- Understanding of legislation, regulations, policies and procedures affecting medical imaging.
- Commitment to continued professional development.
- Evidence of a current unrestricted drivers' licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This will involve driving long distances and overnight stays.
