Selection Criteria
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) for Registered Nurses, Occupational Therapists or Psychologists, or eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) for Social Workers. See Essential Criteria 1 for additional information.
- Demonstrated advanced clinical skills in mental health and discipline specific assessments and interventions, experience working with people with severe and persistent mental illness.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Mental Health Strategic Plans, and Policy Frameworks which impact on current mental health practice (including PCLI).
- Demonstrated capacity to function at an advanced clinical level and to provide clinical leadership and supervision, within a multi-disciplinary treatment setting and share professional expertise with colleagues and service partners to enhance recovery-oriented service delivery.
- Demonstrated effective communication, interpersonal, problem-solving and organisational skills with ability to manage competing demands and develop and maintain effective partnerships with a range of key stakeholders including GPs, non- government organisations, inpatient and community mental health teams, consumers and carer.
- Demonstrated ability to champion practice improvement through participation in quality improvement, service development, education and training, and other activities to facilitate continual improvements in the quality and safety of care.
- Demonstrated effective communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills with ability to develop and maintain effective partnerships with a range of key stakeholders including, GPs, non- government organisations, inpatient and community mental health teams, consumers and carers.
- Evidence of a current unrestricted drivers' licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances and overnight stays.
