What you'll be doing
The Oral Health Therapist provides dental therapy and dental hygiene care to patients within the limits of their formally attained scope of practice. 
 

Selection Criteria

  1. Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Dental Therapist or Oral Health Therapist.
  2. Demonstrated sound clinical and diagnostic skills.
  3. A demonstrated understanding of and commitment to a preventative/population health approach to patient care.
  4. Evidence of continued professional development in evidence based dentistry.
  5. Excellent oral and written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to liaise effectively and sensitively with a wide range of individuals.
  6. Proficient in the use of computer systems, word processing software and clinical software and hardware including electronic patient records and digital imaging.
  7. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of the team.
  8. Current unrestricted drivers’ licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances.
