The Practice Development Nurse Manager will contribute to the organisation's strategic priorities, including development of effective workplace cultures, the improvement of practice, fostering a culture of learning and inquiry, building the organisation's workforce capacity to be responsive to changes and provide safe and effective care.

Selection Criteria
- Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to provide high level advice, education and support to individuals, nursing staff and other health professionals.
- Demonstrated facilitation, consultation, negotiation, written, and verbal communication skills with well-developed interpersonal skills necessary to build and maintain collaborative relationships with individuals and multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated understanding and ability to analysis/use Patient Information Systems, Data and computer programs related to the role.
- Understanding of transformational Practice Development to facilitate positive workplace cultures to support person-centred care.
- Demonstrated understanding of the principles of continuous quality improvement.
- Evidence of a current unrestricted drivers’ licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances and overnight stays.
