At Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD), we are committed to Trusted Care, Better Health for Everyone, and we are seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Cancer Services team.

About the Opportunity

As a Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 - Cancer Nurse Coordinator Subcutaneous Immunoglobulin program, you will deliver complex specialist nursing care and coordinate services for patients receiving subcutaneous immunoglobulins. This role is integral in supporting patients and carers through their treatment journey, ensuring continuity of care and improved health outcomes. In this role you will:

• Provide complex, specialist nursing care and coordinate care across the patient journey for those receiving immunoglobulin. 
• Act as a patient advocate, supporting individuals and carers in decision making and care planning.
• Facilitate continuity of care across services, ensuring timely communication and coordination.
• Provide clinical leadership, mentoring staff and contributing to capability development.
• Contribute to quality improvement, clinical practice development, and evidence-based care delivery.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with relevant post graduate qualifications.
• Minimum three years’ experience in cancer nursing or related specialty area.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver complex care and advanced clinical skills in cancer services.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
• Proven clinical leadership and experience in education, mentoring, and service development.
