Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking a dedicated Visiting Medical Officer in Breast Endocrine Surgery to join our team at Concord Repatriation General Hospital!

   

This role is responsible for providing high quality diagnostic and consultative specialty services and to participate in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities within the Breast Endocrine Surgery Department and Hospital. 

  

The Visiting Medical Officer will provide surgical management of benign and malignant breast pathology, surgical management of thyroid and parathyroid disease, together with significant recent operative experience in adrenal surgery. 

  

The Visiting Medical Officer will ensure a high standard of professional performance and encouragement of an academic environment which supports education, research and professional development. 

   

The successful applicant will be a current registered Medical practitioner, registered or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS), and/or other equivalent specialist recognition, with recognised experience in Breast Endocrine Surgery. 

   

Salary and conditions are in accordance with the NSW Public Hospitals Visiting Medical Officer Determination.
