Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking an experienced Staff Specialist to join our team at Concord Repatriation General Hospital
We are looking for a Staff Specialist in Cardiology. The primary purpose of the role is to provide high quality diagnostic and consultative specialty services in Cardiology, and to participate in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities within the Cardiology Department and Hospital as required.
The Staff Specialist will ensure a high standard of professional performance and encouragement of an academic environment which supports education, research and professional development.
Medical practitioner, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Applicants must have Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) with recognised qualifications in Cardiology and/or other equivalent specialist recognition as provided for in the NSW Staff Specialists (State) Award.
Position will be available from July 2026. In addition, applicants expecting to be awarded their Fellowship within two months from that date, may be considered. Salary and conditions are in accordance with the NSW Staff Specialist (State) Award.
