Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking an experienced Staff Specialist to join our team at Concord Repatriation General Hospital.
We are looking for a Staff Specialist in Anaesthetics. The primary purpose of the role is to provide high quality diagnostic and consultative specialty services in Anaesthesia, and to participate in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities within the Anaesthetics Department and Hospital as required.
Concord Repatriation General Hospital (CRGH) is a Level 6 adult tertiary referral Hospital. The Staff Specialist will be part of a cohesive anaesthetic team who provides specialist anaesthetic services to a broad range of specialities. This will involve collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure clinical services provided are safe and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
The Staff Specialist will ensure a high standard of professional performance and encouragement of an academic environment which supports education, research and professional development.
Medical practitioner, currently registered or eligible for registration, with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Applicants must have Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA) with recognised qualifications in Anaesthetics and/or other equivalent specialist recognition as provided for in the NSW Staff Specialists (State) Award.
Position is currently available. In addition, applicants expecting to be awarded their Fellowship within two months from the beginning of the 2026 Clinical Year on 2 February 2026, may be considered.
Salary and conditions are in accordance with the NSW Staff Specialist (State) Award.
