Formed in 1882, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH) is a major metropolitan tertiary referral hospital and a principal provider of specialist healthcare. It remains one of the nation’s most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities.
The primary purpose of the role is to provide senior clinical leadership within the Speech Pathology service provision including optimisation of patient/client care delivery, as well as supporting the mentoring and development of staff.

Ideal Candidate
- Currently holds a Bachelor or post graduate degree in Speech Pathology that provides eligibility for full membership of Speech Pathology Australia with experience at Level 2 or higher.
- Demonstrated ability to initiate, lead, complete, and evaluate quality improvement initiatives and/or research focused on patient/client outcomes.
- Has excellent negotiation, decision making, and advocacy skills including collaborative stakeholder consultation.
