About the Role
Concord Centre for Mental Health is committed to improving mental health for people and our communities by providing quality mental health services in partnership with consumers, families and service providers by providing quality healthcare, delivery of safe appropriate care, ensuring access to services, supporting our workforce, and working closely with the local community to manage the changing demand for services.
The Burudyara Concord Forensic Rehabilitation Mental Health Unit is a purpose-built, state-of-the-art facility being established as part of the NSW Statewide Mental Health Infrastructure Program. Located on the grounds of the Concord Centre for Mental Health, the Unit will provide rehabilitation for 18 medium secure and 24 low secure forensic mental health patients. Designed with facilities to meet patients where they’re at and support their pathway to recovery and transition back into the community to live meaningful, purposeful lives significantly expanding access to specialised care
The primary purpose of the role is to provide a high quality Social Work service to patients/clients and carers in order to ensure the provision of optimal health outcomes for the patients/clients of the service.

Ideal Candidate
- Holds a Bachelor or post graduate degree in Social Work that provides eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
- Demonstrated knowledge, skills and clinical experience in Social Work clinical practice.
- Has high level written and verbal communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
