About the Role
Sydney Local Health District has a long and proud history of delivering care in the community including prevention, early intervention, assessment, treatment, health maintenance and continuing care services designed to improve and support the health and wellbeing of individuals and communities.
The Registered Nurse is responsible for the provision of person centred; evidence informed nursing care that promotes identified health outcomes. The Registered Nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team. Sydney District Nursing (SDN) service requirements are that staff may be re-deployed to other centres within SLHD to support workload management and model of care.

Ideal Candidate
- Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated understanding of evidence informed practice and critical thinking.
- Evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills, and willingness to apply and share professional expertise with colleagues.
- Current NSW Drivers Licence (P1 and P2 licence acceptable).
