About the Role
RPA Sexual Health is a busy metropolitan sexual health clinic located in Inner West Sydney and a part of the Community Health Services within SLHD. The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high-quality nursing care to clients attending RPA Sexual Health consistent with SLHD policies, procedures, and standards. A key focus of the position is to provide a diverse range of specialist services including sexual health assessment, STI screening and treatment, vaccinations, venepuncture, client and community education and health promotion, in-patient triage, telephone services, and other duties as directed by the NUM.

Ideal Candidate
- Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) and relevant post graduate experience.
- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and apply professional and ethical boundaries when dealing with complex situations.
- Good quality documentation skills and computer literacy and the ability to work with EMR systems, electronic booking systems, and online results management.
- A good understanding of the issues and needs of priority populations attending sexual health services.
- Clinical experience working in the sexual health or related field or demonstrated interest in working in the sexual health sector.
- Current venepuncture skills.
