About the Role
Canterbury Hospital is a metropolitan acute general hospital located in the exciting Canterbury Bankstown Local Government Area which is one of the most culturally and linguistically diverse areas in the Greater Sydney region and world-renowned. Canterbury Hospital Casual Pool offers emergency medicine, general surgery and medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, aged care, rehabilitation, palliative care and outpatient services.
The Registered Nurse is responsible for the provision of patient centred; evidence informed nursing care that promotes identified health outcomes. The Registered Nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Ideal Candidate
Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
Evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills, and willingness to apply and share professional expertise with colleagues.
Demonstrated commitment to person centred care and NSW Health Core Values.
Successful applicants will be expected to work across various hospital departments as part of our casual nursing pool.
