About the Role

With about 13,000 staff, Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is responsible for the health and wellbeing of more than 740,000 people living within our boundaries, as well as many more from rural and remote parts of NSW and Australia. We also care for more than a million people who come into our District each day to work, study and visit.
 
We are seeking dedicated nurses with recent clinical experience in an acute facility to join our Emergency Departments across SLHD, with opportunities existing at Canterbury Hospital and Concord Repatriation General Hospital.
 
The positions will cover a rotating roster including morning, afternoon and night shifts, 7 days per week. A minimum of 24 hours per week is required for part time positions.

Ideal Candidate

  • Current registration with AHPRA.
  • Effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Must have recent clinical experience in an acute facility.
