You will be working at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. It is one of the nation’s most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history of serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities. This position provides administrative and secretarial support to the Department of Cardiology and Echo Services, ensuring the efficient running of the services through coordination and provision of administrative duties. This includes sharing of responsibility with other cardiology secretarial positions and providing cover for other secretarial and administrative staff in the Department and the Sydney Heart Centre. The role completes Cardiology related tasks when short staffed, as well as other duties as directed by the Business Manager Cardiology, Echo Department Supervisor and the Head of Department Cardiology. The successful candidate should be able to work flexible hours.

Ideal Candidate
- Excellent typing (from digital voice dictation) skills with knowledge of medical terminology.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
