About the Role
You will be working at Concord Repatriation General Hospital. The hospital has a well-earned reputation for excellence in healthcare for over 70 years. Building on its proud heritage of caring for the Veteran community, the hospital now services the local communities of Concord, Strathfield, Burwood and beyond.
Exciting clinical team leader position supporting and supervising clinicians in the clinical areas of acute geriatrics, geriatric rehabilitation, inpatient rehabilitation and InReach rehabilitation. The position has a clinical caseload and will be offered support and supervision by the Head of Department. You will provide specialist services and senior clinical leadership within Occupational Therapy.

Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor or post graduate degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA.
- Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge, skill and significant clinical experience in the provision of Occupational Therapy.
- Extensive experience and demonstrated ability in building and maintaining professional and therapeutic relationships through the application of written, verbal, interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Demonstrated ability to apply and share expert knowledge with colleagues and other health professionals to enhance service delivery
- Demonstrated experience and ability to identify opportunities and innovatively lead the planning, implementation and evaluation of service delivery incorporating continuous improvement, evidence based practice and research.
- Demonstrated extensive experience in the provision of clinical supervision, mentoring and development of junior staff and students.
- Demonstrated high level organisational, prioritisation and time management skills in an environment of competing clinical/administrative demands
- Excellent negotiation, decision making and advocacy skills including collaborative stakeholder consultation.
