We are looking for a dedicated Occupational therapist to join the team at Concord Hospital!
About the Role

Concord Centre for Mental Health is committed to improving mental health for people and our communities by providing quality mental health services in partnership with consumers, families and service providers by providing quality healthcare, delivery of safe appropriate care, ensuring access to services, supporting our workforce, and working closely with the local community to manage the changing demand for services. This position is based at Rivendell Child, Adolescent and Family Mental Health Services.

This position provides evidence based assessment, case formulation and treatments to children and adolescents 5 years up to 18 years with severe and complex emotional disturbance, including young people with a diagnosable psychiatric disorder, who have not benefited from less intensive interventions. Treatments include discipline specific assessments and interventions within the discipline of Occupational Therapy and expert mental health interventions such individual, family and group interventions. A component of the role is to develop the service approach to virtual health services including Intake and assessment and where appropriate follow-up.

Ideal Candidate
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and full AHPRA registration, with experience at Level 2 or higher.
  • Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge, skill and significant clinical experience in the provision of Occupational therapy clinical services in Mental health services including children and adolescents with a mental illness and their families and carers.
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate, lead, complete and evaluate quality improvement initiatives and/or research focused on patient/client outcomes.
