Royal Prince Alfred Hospital is seeking a highly motivated Nursing Unit Manager for the Coronary Care Unit (CCU)

 
 

About the Role

You will be working at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH). It is one of the nation’s most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history of serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities. The Nursing Unit Manager role is responsible for the operational management and leadership of nursing/ staff to ensure the provision of high quality patient and family centred care and nursing and or midwifery excellence at unit/ward level. 
 
The Nursing Unit Manager Level 3 responsibilities in relation to patient services, ward or unit management and staff management are in excess of those of a Nursing Unit Manager Level 2.
 
This position will be working Monday to Friday, with 4 weeks of annual leave. For more information, please view the Position Description.

 

Ideal Candidate

  • Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Proven clinical management and leadership experience in a tertiary/district health care facility.
  • Advanced communication and negotiation skills and experience in conflict resolution.
