About the Role

The Director - Infrastructure and Service Delivery (ISD), reporting to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) is a strategic role that is responsible for planning, leading and directing Digital Health and Innovation’s (DH&I) Infrastructure group and improving performance, productivity, and efficiency of ICT infrastructure. The DH&I Infrastructure and Service Delivery teams include professionals covering networks, database administration, hosting, data centre support, storage and all aspects of data, network, desktop and system security, service delivery and end user services. The position will be required to work collaboratively with stakeholders and ensure that the services offered meet the clients' needs for capacity, availability, reliability, security, and function.

Ideal Candidate
- A tertiary degree in Information Technology or equivalent qualification and/or experience in the health care sector.
- Extensive experience of program management in a complex corporate environment with a significant number of parallel projects occurring simultaneously and experience of working with and qualified in a recognised structured project management methodology e.g. PRINCE2.
- Experience in the development of DH&I infrastructure and Service Delivery strategies in a large organisation, and an understanding of the strategic planning process and appropriate methodologies. From a variety including conceptual and innovative problem-solving skills for managing conflicting priorities and developing, implementing, and monitoring recommendations and advice on policies, strategies, and solutions across complex areas.
