About the Role
Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking a passionate and proactive Dietitian to join the Living Well, Living Longer (LWLL) team based at Marrickville Community Mental Health Centre. Living Well, Living Longer is an integrated care initiative designed at improve the physical health of people living with severe mental illness. The program delivers targeted screening, detection, intervention and management of co-existing physical health conditions.
As the LWLL Dietitian, you will work directly with consumers of SLHD community mental health services, delivering both individual and group interventions. You will also contribute to the Collaborative Centre for Cardiometabolic Health in Psychosis (ccCHiP) outpatient clinics providing assessment and intervention for modifiable cardiometabolic disease risk factors.
The role requires provision of clinical care in various settings, including outpatient & multidisciplinary clinics, community health centres and other community locations. They will collaborate closely with consumers, their carers/families and multidisciplinary teams across the district.

Ideal Candidate
- Holds a Bachelor or post graduate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics that provides eligibility for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia.
- Knowledge, skills and clinical experience in Nutrition and Dietetic practice and the provision of services to dietetics, in an inpatient and outpatient setting.
- Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Holds a current NSW driver licence (P1 and P2 acceptable).
