About the Role

You will be working in the Andrology Department, the only hospital Andrology department in Australia. A public ambulatory care service providing medical, nursing and laboratory services focused on reproductive health care and management for men. The department manages and treats men who may be hormone deficient or undertaking fertility preserving sperm cryostorage ahead of sterilizing cancer treatment as well as transgender medicine.
 

The clinical trial coordinator will be responsible for coordinating of multiple clinical research projects. You will have an interesting and varied workload and will be directly involved in all aspects of investigator-initiated studies of androgen and reproductive hormone pharmacology.

 

You will be working at Concord Repatriation General Hospital. The hospital has a well-earned reputation for excellence in healthcare for over 70 years. Building on its proud heritage of caring for the Veteran community, the hospital now services the local communities of Concord, Strathfield, Burwood and beyond.

Ideal Candidate
 

  • Relevant qualifications and/or experience in research, clinical trials, or relevant clinical or other health experience.
  • Understanding of ICH GCP with current certification.
  • Recent experience in human ethics and research governance submissions, patient recruitment, informed consent procedures, patient follow up visits and data entry.
  • Experience in venesection: identification, preparation and storage of research samples.
  • High level computer skills including use of Word, Excel and REDCap.
