About the Role
You will be working at Concord Repatriation General Hospital. The hospital has a well-earned reputation for excellence in healthcare for over 70 years. Building on its proud heritage of caring for the Veteran community, the hospital now services the local communities of Concord, Strathfield, Burwood and beyond.
The Clinical Specialist Burns Physiotherapist will participate in and be a resource person for the Statewide Burns Service and participate in professional development and teaching along with other relevant departmental activities and administrative duties. They will lead and participate in clinical research relating to Physiotherapy intervention for patients with burn injuries and will actively participate in service planning for the ongoing development of the Burns Service at CRGH and SLHD as appropriate.
- All candidates must have full working rights within Australia.
Tertiary degree in Physiotherapy with current AHPRA registration and evidence of clinically relevant post graduate qualifications in the Burns field or demonstrated recognition of speciality by peers/colleagues/professional networks or a substantive academic conjoint appointment.
Current NSW Driver Licence (P1 and P2 acceptable).
- Demonstrated extensive experience and clinical expertise with advanced clinical knowledge and skills in the field of Burns and evidence of actively contributing to the clinical field of expertise by presenting papers at conferences and contributing to peer reviewed journals
