This is an exciting opportunity exists for a suitably qualified and experienced Registered Nurse to join the Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) as a Clinical Nurse Consultant in General Respiratory Medicine!
About the Opportunity
In this dynamic role you will act as the General Respiratory Nurse Consultant, contributing to asthma and chest clinics at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and providing expert clinical support and leadership. As a senior clinician and role model, you will play a key role in the development and management of clinical processes, including the creation of care maps and clinical pathways to improve patient outcomes.
A current driver’s license is highly advantageous due to the district-wide nature of the role. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated and skilled nurse to make a significant impact within a collaborative and innovative clinical environment.

Ideal Candidate
- Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) and 7 years full time equivalent post registration experience, with at least 5 years full time equivalent experience in the specialty field.
- Holds approved postgraduate qualifications relevant to the specialty or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate.
- A current NSW Driver's Licence (P1 and P2 acceptable) is preferable.
