About the Role
You will be working at Concord Repatriation General Hospital. The hospital has a well-earned reputation for excellence in healthcare for over 70 years. Building on its proud heritage of caring for the Veteran community, the hospital now services the local communities of Concord, Strathfield, Burwood and beyond.
The Central Bookings Officer is required to carry out a variety of administrative duties in accordance with the waiting list/elective surgery management process. The position requires a high level of negotiation skills to liaise with clinical, non-clinical support staff and the general public to ensure patients are admitted within their clinical recommended timeframes.

Ideal Candidate
- An understanding and an interest in providing a high standard of customer service.
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills, including telephone communication skills of a high standard together with attention to detail.
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks, meet strict deadlines and work under pressure.
- Ability to work as part of a team with limited direction.
- Ability to work a Rotating Roster Monday - Friday, start time 6:30am to 8:30am, 8 hour shift.
