Concord Central Bookings Officer is an essential position which carries out a variety of administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Ensuring all elective surgery theatre list as fully utilised.
Receive and process Recommendations for Admissions (RFA) from Medical Officers and various departments within KPI’s and in adherence to the Planned Surgery Policy.
General Admissions are actioned within adequate timeframes avoiding patient delays.
Liaising with patients in relation to the cancellation and delay of admissions as required.
Arranging Pre-Admission appointments prior to admission in accordance with guidelines.
Answering telephone enquiries.
This position plays an essential role with Concord Repatriation General Hospital requiring a high level of negation skills to liaise with clinical, non-clinical support staff and the general public to ensure all patients are admitted within their clinically recommended timeframes.

Ideal Candidate
- An understanding and an interest in providing a high standard of customer service.
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills, including telephone communication skills of a high standard together with attention to detail.
- Ability to gain knowledge of MOH Waiting Time and Elective Patient Management Policy and Apply.
