About the Role

Concord Repatriation General Hospital has a well-earned reputation for excellence in healthcare for over 70 years. Building on its proud heritage of caring for the Veteran community, the hospital now services the local communities of Concord, Strathfield, Burwood and beyond.

This role will provide administrative cover to the Andrology Department at Concord Hospital. This frontline administrative position serves as the primary point of contact for clients and is integral to the efficient operation of the service. Key responsibilities include professionally receiving and assisting clients, managing incoming telephone calls and departmental enquiries, coordinating and confirming appointments, undertaking patient bookings, processing bulk billing for medical clinics, and preparing and distributing all correspondence in a timely and accurate manner.
The incumbent will also support the work activities of nurses, medical staff and other allied health professionals working within the service.

Ideal Candidate
  • Knowledge of Medicare billing.
  • Understanding of Medical Terminology or certificate demonstrating completion of same.
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday (8:00am to 4:30pm).
