What you'll be doing
Join the Western Sydney Local Health Network as a Ward Clerk, providing vital administrative and customer service support to enhance patient care. Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Ensuring accurate patient data entry and record-keeping
  • Supporting nurses with timely data and information
  • Delivering friendly, professional service to all
  • Coordinating patient services and communications
  • Assisting in maintaining organised inpatient files

Selection Criteria:

  1. Demonstrated experience using patient database systems such as iPM or Cerner
  2. Demonstrated clerical or administration experience in a health, hospital or medical environment
  3. Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Windows including Outlook, Word and Excel
  4. Demonstrated experience in working in a fast-paced environment with strong organisational and time management skills
  5. Demonstrated experience in dealing with patients/customers and their families//carers
  6. Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and in a multidisciplinary team environment
  7. Strong verbal and written communication skills
  8. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to
