Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking experienced Staff Specialists in Psychiatry to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services!

We are looking for Staff Specialists in Psychiatry. The primary purpose of the role of Staff Specialist in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is to provide high quality diagnostic and consultative specialty services in Psychiatry, and to participate in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities within the Mental Health Service and Hospital as required.
The Staff Specialist will provide clinical management and treatment of patients at the Rivendell Unit. They will ensure a high standard of professional performance and encouragement of an academic environment which supports education, research and professional development. 

The successful applicant will be registered or eligible for specialist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and Fellowship of the Royal Australian New Zealand College of Psychiatrists and/or other equivalent specialist recognition as provided for in the NSW Staff Specialists (State) Award, and completion (or approaching completion) of the Certificate in Advanced Training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (RANZCP) or equivalent.
Salary and conditions are in accordance with NSW Staff Specialist (State) Award.
