The Concord Institute of Academic Surgery is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Research Manager to lead and coordinate the activities of our clinical research team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the advancement of surgical research within a dynamic academic health service environment.
About the Role
- Lead and manage the operations of clinical research units within the Institute.
- Conduct high-quality research in a health service setting, including data analysis and performance reporting.
- Develop and support staff to meet the research objectives of the unit.
- Oversee research ethics and governance processes, including preparation and submission of research applications.
- Manage projects and research initiatives to ensure delivery within timeframes and budget.
- Prepare and deliver reports, presentations, and other communications to stakeholders.
- Ensure effective use of systems, tools, and technologies to support research activities.

Ideal Candidate
- Tertiary qualifications are valued and will positively contribute to your suitability for the role.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting research in a health service environment with experience in data analysis and performance reporting.
- Proven experience in managing clinical research units of the Concord Institute of Academic Surgery; ability to lead and motivate staff to achieve the research objectives of the unit.
