The Statewide Burn Injury Service is a network of clinicians, allied health professionals and registered nurses that support the health system to provide high quality care to patients with burn injuries, throughout the time they need treatment.

Our Burns Unit is part of the NSW Statewide Severe Burn Injury Service servicing the entire State of New South Wales for adults with burn injuries and other skin loss conditions. 

We accept tertiary referrals for any acute burn injury or any patient requiring burns reconstructive surgery. All NSW Burn Units are affiliated with the University of Sydney and well regarded for their excellence in research and training.
  
Your new role

We’re looking for a dedicated registered nurse to provide high-quality care, communicate with patients, and work closely with a healthcare team.

You’ll keep accurate patient records, solve care challenges, and manage your tasks to meet patient goals.

Ongoing training and development are important, as well as promoting safety and quality in everything you do.

Ideal Candidate

  • Has current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
  • Burns experience critical to the role.
  • The ability to work a 7 day rotating roster.
  • All candidates must have full working rights within Australia
