About the role
This exciting position presents an opportunity to registered psychologists who want to work in mental health, drug and alcohol services.
Provisional psychologists with appropriate qualifications are also welcome to apply, with internal supervision and support available to the right applicant, leading to full registration.
The registered Psychologist will be able to apply evidence-based psychological and cognitive assessments, treatment techniques and case formulation to address a range of behavioural, emotional, psychosocial and health problems in an inpatient psychiatric setting. Provisional psychologists will be expected to demonstrate understanding of evidence based psychological treatment techniques and appropriate assessment techniques.
