About the Role

Digital Health & Innovation (DH&I) is seeking a permanent full time (PFT) Product Analyst within our Core, Security and Architect team. This position will be responsible for the day to day management of activities relevant to the planning, configuration, testing and implementation of the eMR Security, Domain management, Device Integration and eMR interface in conjunction with the Integration team. Current responsibilities include the maintenance of multiple Cerner eMR modules and functions including PowerChart, FirstNet, SurgiNet, PAS, Printing, Cardiovascular, eMR interface and integration. eMR is the critical clinical information system running 7 X24 and the role will be rostered for oncall to provide support. 

There may also be a requirement to work from time to time at different Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) sites.

 

Our ideal candidate will bring strong experience in supporting clinical systems and demonstrate this in their application (selection criteria responses, CV, or cover letter). They will have a solid understanding of working within a large healthcare organisation, along with strong IT skills to support complex clinical information systems.

Ideal Candidate
 
  • Experience and a record of achievement working within a product management lifecycle in a large and complex clinical ICT service environment, including relevant bachelor’s degree in ICT or Management or equivalent experience. 
  • Experience in the design, configuration and deployment of digital health systems. 
  • Organisational skills and experience working in a high volume and changing professional environment with a capacity to prioritise, multi-task, achieve business goals, perform and always work with a customer-focused approach. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, negotiate and influence key stakeholders and customers, make decisions with the input of leaders, technical teams and key stakeholders, and the ability to mediate opposing viewpoints, articulate the advantages of standards in a technical environment to achieve optimal business outcomes.
