Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking a Post Graduate Fellow to join our team at Concord Repatriation General Hospital.
The Post Graduate Fellow will provide high quality clinical care, diagnostic and consultative specialty services in Haematology at the level of a Post Graduate Fellow, and participate in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities within the Haematology Department and Concord Repatriation General Hospital as required.
The Post Graduate Fellow will oversee multidisciplinary management of patients in clinical trials and receiving novel T cell engaging therapies. They will also enrich patient care through improved patient education and enhanced screening for patients to access novel therapies on clinical trials. The Post Graduate Fellow will be involved in assisting preparation of the CAR-T Clinical trials and Haematology unit for FACT accreditation.
They will ensure high standards of professional performance and contribute to an academic environment which supports education, research and professional development.
The successful applicant will be registered, or eligible for registration, with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) with recognised qualifications in Haematology and/or other equivalent specialist recognition as provided for in the NSW Staff Specialists (State) Award. (Note: Applicants expecting to be awarded their Fellowship prior to, or within three months of the expected commencement date, may be considered.)
Salary and conditions are in accordance with the NSW Staff Specialist (State) Award.
