About the Role
This role is a district-wide position that will require working at multiple sites including but not limited to: RPA, CRGH, and Canterbury Hospital. CRGH is currently the established home site for the Pharmacy System Manager, where a workstation has been allocated.
The Pharmacy System Manager role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the optimisation and advancement of pharmacy informatics systems across SLHD, including the dispensing application, automation technologies, and integration with the electronic medication management system. This role is ideal for a forward-thinking individual who thrives on improving workflow efficiencies, enhancing medication safety, and driving innovation through the implementation of new technologies and electronic systems. You'll collaborate closely with pharmacy, ICT, eHealth, and vendors, contribute to strategic planning, and play a key role in shaping the future of pharmacy informatics within the District.

Ideal Candidate
- Current registration as a pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with no restrictions and extensive experience in a hospital pharmacy environment and knowledge of health structure and processes.
- Experience with pharmacy informatics systems (including i.Pharmacy Software package and Crystal reports development) and a good understanding of pharmacy information requirements or ability to gain these skills.
- Ability to manage projects and deadlines.
