If you’re an experienced clinician who values flexibility, innovation and high quality, family centred care, you’ll thrive in our team. Enjoy strong professional development, genuine multidisciplinary collaboration, and a workplace where your ideas are welcomed, your expertise is valued, and your impact is visible.

About the Role

Child and Family Occupational Therapy is part of our community based services supporting children and families across Sydney Local Health District. We strive to deliver accessible, place based, family centred care that enables children to participate meaningfully in everyday life. You’ll join a supportive and flexible multidisciplinary team that values collaboration, continuous improvement and initiative. Experienced clinicians are trusted to work autonomously, contribute their expertise and help shape the service. We offer diverse caseloads, accessible seniors and strong supervision structures, providing the right balance of independence, support and professional growth.

The role provides evidence based Occupational Therapy to children aged 0–12 with a range of developmental needs across clinic, school and community settings. You’ll provide therapy across clinics, education settings and community environments, adapting your approach to meet families where they are. This role is well suited to clinicians who are internally motivated, outcomes focused and confident working with autonomy. You’ll collaborate closely with families, carers, educators and multidisciplinary colleagues to support meaningful, functional outcomes while also using your clinical expertise to advocate for your clients and contribute your professional perspective. Beyond clinical work, you’ll play an active role in service development, quality improvement and evidence based practice initiatives where your ideas and initiative will be valued. You’ll be part of a service known for its strong relationships with families, its commitment to client centred care, and the genuine impact it makes in children's lives, supported by leadership that fosters inclusion, supports innovation, and helps clinicians to do their best work.
