About the Role

Formed in 1882, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH) is a major metropolitan tertiary referral hospital and a principal provider of specialist healthcare. It remains one of the nation’s most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities.
 
This is an exciting opportunity to work as a senior clinician in a busy outpatient hand therapy service, primarily seeing patients for post-surgery/post-acute therapy; working in the Hands, Plastics and Orthopaedics clinics and seeing patients with chronic hand conditions. The position works in a collaborative multi-disciplinary team and will be provided regular clinical supervision, as well as be responsible for the supervision of junior clinicians.

Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor, postgraduate degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA, with experience at Level 2 or higher.
  • Advanced clinical knowledge, skill and significant clinical experience in the provision of Occupational Therapy.
  • Ability to independently problem solve, apply professional and ethical boundaries when working with complex situations as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Current NSW driver's licence (P1 and P2 acceptable).
