About the Role
Mental Health Services across the Sydney Local Health District are committed to improving mental health care for our communities by providing quality mental health services in partnership with consumers, families and service providers. Our Mental Health Services team has a strong focus on improving access to care across the care continuum with robust whole of health strategies. We are seeking a strategic and experienced Nurse Manager to lead the development, management, and execution of sustainable whole of health initiatives that enhance efficiency and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. You will partner across the organisation to deliver sustainable and impactful solutions. The Nurse Manager will also operationally lead the Demand Management Team who support access and demand access 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Ideal Candidate
- Current unencumbered Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse
- Extensive recent management experience with experience in leading staff and managing services in the relevant setting, supported by a relevant tertiary management qualification and/or work experience.
- Extensive demonstrated knowledge and understanding of operational and strategic factors influencing patient access.
