About the Role
Royal Prince Alfred is the principal teaching hospital of the University of Sydney and offers speciality services from its main campus as well as from Institute of Rheumatology and Orthopaedics, Chris O’Brien Lifehouse and Dame Edith Walker Hospitals. RPAH is one of Australia's leading hospitals, providing an extensive range of diagnostic and treatment services. Its specialities include cardiology, obstetrics and gynaecology, cancer, respiratory medicine, neurology, liver and kidney transplants.
The primary purpose of the role is to provide senior clinical leadership within Social Work service provision including optimisation of patient/client care delivery, as well as supporting the mentoring and development of staff including provision of supervision and direction to Level 1/2 staff and students on clinical placements in accordance with the award.

Ideal Candidate
- Holds a Bachelor or post graduate degree in Social Work that provides eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers, with Current NSW Driver's Licence (P1 and P2 acceptable).
- Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge, skill and significant clinical experience in the provision of social work, with experience at Level 2 or higher.
