The ward requires advanced clinical skills and supports specialised nursing procedures including:
- External Ventricular Drain (EVD) management
- Lumbar drain care
- Tracheostomy management

- Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a post graduate qualification in a relevant clinical field or education post graduate qualification or a combination of education training and clinical experience deemed appropriate by SWSLHD.
