About the Role

The Chief Radiographer is responsible to the Director of Radiology, Concord and Canterbury Hospitals for the efficient and effective flow of work through the Radiology Department at Canterbury Hospital consistent with the standards and regulations prescribed under relevant Acts and Policies. 
  
The Chief Radiographer is responsible for operational management of radiographers and clerical staff within the Radiology Department and for the welfare and safety of patients, staff and the public.

Ideal Candidate

  

  • Experience in staff performance management, equipment selection, oversight of service agreements, and financial control.
  • Demonstrated superior communication skills within a multidisciplinary and multicultural work environment.
  • Experience in the management and implementation of Radiation Safety, WHS Principles, quality assurance and staff radiation monitoring.
