About the Role

This exciting opportunity is within our prestigious Dermatology Department at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH). The Department of Dermatology has a range of general dermatology and subspecialty clinics prioritising patient-centred care, innovation and collaboration to deliver the best patient outcomes.
 
We are looking for an experienced administrative professional to join our dynamic team, providing exceptional support to deliver outstanding patient care.
Administrative Officers are often the first point of contact for patients, families and their carers in an outpatient setting. Administrative Officer roles within Ambulatory Care Business Unit (ACBU) are responsible for delivering a high standard of customer service, administrative support and actively contributing to a positive experience for our patients and visitors. 
 
Whilst the position is located within the Dermatology ambulatory service, the position sits within the ACBU which manages the centralised workforce structure for all Ambulatory Care administrative staff across RPAH.

Ideal Candidate

  • Customer service experience with the ability to demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence.
  • Experience in an administrative setting and demonstrated ability to perform clerical duties.
  • Understanding of policies and procedures within NSW Health and how these apply in the workplace in particular, the importance of patient confidentiality.
