Where you'll be working
The Finance team plays a vital role in supporting teams throughout the LHD by assisting with budget planning, managing financial performance, meeting statutory and ministerial reporting obligations, overseeing procurement, contract management, and handling patient revenue functions. Additionally, Finance collaborates closely with key stakeholders across the district to plan and optimise resource allocation and effective usage, aiming to deliver improved outcomes for the communities we serve. 

What you'll be doing
The Costing Specialist is part of a District team and provides support to the SESLHD costing submission, performs analysis and reporting on the costing outcomes, and undertakes stakeholder engagement to refine the costing process. They may have a focus on Finance or Patient activity and may be responsible for more than one hospital or service.
