Please note: To be eligible for permanent appointment to a position in NSW Health, you must have an Australian citizenship or permanent Australian residency.
- Current authority to practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Recent experience in neonatal and or paediatric intensive care or a retrieval service
- Proficient in planning, assessing, implementing and evaluating nursing care of the critically ill or injured neonate or paediatric patient
- Demonstrated strong leadership skills in providing safe, effective and professional standard of care
- Ability to function effectively both independently and as a team member
- Highly motivated and committed to personal nursing development
- Ability to provide effective and accurate information through exceptional communication skills, which includes computer literacy
- Ability to demonstrate a level of physical fitness to complete relevant vehicle, rotary wing and fixed wing training including HUET - (Helicopter Underwater Escape Training) and Sea Survival
