The Research Assistant may work across several teams under the guidance of a Senior member of the Clinical Research Centre staff.
The Research Assistant will be responsible for assisting Clinical Research Centre staff e.g. Study Nurses and Clinical Research Coordinators with all administrative activities associated with research projects.
The Research Assistant should have the knowledge of clinical research in a health or academic environment and will be expected to organise priorities and work independently, and as part of a team, within their level of responsibility.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in science or related paramedical field (e.g. Nursing) with clinical trials knowledge and experience.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of the principles of (i) Good Clinical Practice (ii) NHMRC National Statement (iii) The NHMRC Code of Conduct for Researchers and (iv) Shipping and Handling of Dangerous Goods.
- Strong computer skills in all Microsoft Office products, and some experience with electronic data capture systems.
