  1. Current enrolment in a relevant science degree (pathology or medical laboratory science, with subjects relevant to pathology) with a minimum of one year full-time equivalent study to complete.
  2. Willingness to learn all aspects of the laboratory environment relevant to the laboratory.
  3. Demonstrated verbal and written communication and consultation skills.
  4. Demonstrated ability to work co-operatively in a values based team environment to achieve quality outcomes.
  5. Excellent data entry skills including high attention to detail and data accuracy.
  6. Sound understanding of legislation, policies and requirements that impact the laboratory environment including work health and safety and privacy requirements, NPAAC guidelines and the ISO15189 Standard.
